Empowering women with knowledge.

I created this blog to share my 40 years of experience in the auto repair business.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a good understanding of what it takes to feel okay about your repair experience?

Men and Women sometimes feel they are at the mercy of the repair shop. I believe it does not have to be that way.

I feel that women are my best customers. Intuitive when it comes to things going wrong, that strange noise, the vibrations when you apply the brakes, the warning lights on the dash all mean something is going wrong and it needs attention.

Cars are complex today. Keeping a car in dependable condition is the least expensive way of ownership. You want it to start everytime and get you to your destination safely.

Following the owners manual is key to saving money over the lifetime of your car.

Regular service intervals are important.

I am available to answer any questions you may have about cars.

I am new to blogging but feel this is a good way to get information out there.

Ladies, Go with your intuition when it comes to dealing with repair shops.

Is it clean and organized? Do they make you feel welcome when you walk in the door?

Do they listen and understand what you are experiencing?

Is the shop familiar with your brand of car and have access to information to perform a proper repair.
